“Mommy & Me” is a fun and positive introduction to soccer for our youngest soccer players and their parents. By using age-appropriate soccer games and activities, our youngest players are engaged and enjoying the game of soccer- all with their parents by their side. Mommy and Me athletes learn how to work in a group environment, build sportsmanship, and have fun with other players, parents, and coaches!

Mommy and Me classes are 30 minutes long on Saturday mornings, from 8 to 9am, and are run by the NPSC Coaching Staff. Players will receive a training shirt at the first practice that they should wear for the sessions each week. Cleats, Shin guards, and a Size 2 Ball are required.

The In-House Soccer League is the next stage in NPSC's recreational soccer program.  This league provides boys and girls in the U6, U8, and U10 age groups the opportunity to develop basic soccer skills and learn the rules of the game in a fun, positive soccer environment. In House League teams are coached by volunteers and have one practice a week on Mondays, Wednesdays or Fridays. In House League games are on Saturdays. The In-House program is offered in the Spring and Fall seasons.

Once players age out of NPSC's In House League at U11, athletes who do not have the desire to play in NPSC's travel program have the opportunity to continue playing at the recreational level in the NCSL-Rec League (click here for NPSC-Rec Rules). NPSC teams in the U11-U19 age groups compete against other recreational clubs in the Northern VA area. Teams at this level are coached by volunteers, practice 1-2 times a week, and have games on weekends. Two NPSC United NCSL Recreational seasons are offered throughout the year: Spring (Mid-March to May) and Fall (Mid-August to beginning of November).
