Coach Makinson has more than seven years of experience coaching boys’ recreational and travel teams at NPSC, working with players from U8 through U12. In addition, he has served as an assistant coach for older boys’ teams, bringing valuable support and perspective to player development at multiple age levels.

Coach Makinson holds a U.S. Soccer Grassroots 9v9 coaching certification as well as a Class F License, supporting his commitment to player development and coaching education.

Coach Makinson played travel soccer throughout middle and high school and earned selection to the ODP State Team as a junior and senior. He has continued his passion for the game by competing in both outdoor and indoor adult recreational leagues for many years.
